Walsh creates kerfuffle at Elton's do
Fiona Walsh, tiddly temp and presidential candidate created a bit of a kerfuffle yesterday at the civil union/marriage/domestic partnership ceremony of Elton John and David Furnish. Walsh made a bold statement by appearing in male drag at the uber-gay affair. "Elton was not impressed", sniffed a miffed Walsh. "As he and Furnish are gay, I thought he'd get a right laugh out of me turning up in drag king gear but apparently I went too far. He wanted a tasteful gay ceremony and I just stepped over the line with my drawn- in moustache and large sock down me trousers". Walsh went on to say, "I've apologized and we're all cool now. I think Elton was just a bit het up over everything, being the blushing bride and all (well who knows who wears the trousers in that relationship, I'm just presuming as he's very bossy!) but once things calmed down and the actual legal bits were done with, we all had a good laugh at my costume and deranged penciled on stubble".
