Walsh will not be new Irish Prime Minister.

Following the resignation of Irish Prime Minister (or Taoiseach, pronounced "teeshock"), Fiona Walsh candidate for anything said in a surprise announcement she won't be running for this election. "No I don't want to have anything to do with Irish politics. It's just not my cup of tea. I like the rock and roll world of American politics, sex, drugs and prostitution rings. That's my medium. Were I to run up against the lads back home, I'd feel enormous pressure to be involved in farming or some rural activities and smell vaguely of cow manure or silage. I couldn't have that given my strong anti-meat stance. And brown envelopes? No, just not my scene. And besides no one has asked me. So I'll be staying put and taking my chances in the American elections, all going well!"
Neither Bertie nor Brendan Cowen could be reached for comment although we overheard a loud 'Moo" coming from Dail Eireann.
